International Climate Policy Adviser at Ministry of Environment

Currently coordinating Ministry’s activities on international climate policy and diplomacy. National focal point to the Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Planning and developing national climate finance schemes to support developing countries in their efforts to tackle climate change and adapt to climate change impacts. Representing Estonia's positions at the OECD. Decade of experience in public sector with developing policies and legislation related to water management, risk reduction and climate resilience. Engagement with public authorities, stakeholders, NGOs. International and inter-institutional negotiations in the period of Estonian presidency of the EU Council and during the UNFCCC climate negotiations at the COP26.
