ADAM KRZYSZTOF ABRAMOWICZ

Polish politician, manager, member of the Sejm of the sixth, seventh and eighth terms, since 2018 spokesman for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs

Adam Krzysztof Abramowicz – appointed to the position of SME Ombudsman on June 22, 2018. He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mining Organization of Lublin University of Technology and completed postgraduate studies in water, wastewater and waste technology at the Faculty of Sanitary Engineering of Wrocław University of Technology.

He successfully ran his own business. He was one of the main initiators and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Nasze Sklepy” Retailers Network, which was established to protect small and medium-sized entrepreneurs. He was also one of the founders and long-time president of the Chamber of Commerce of New Entrepreneurship in Biała Podlaska. His active business activities resulted in his membership in the Council of the Polish Chamber of Commerce. He was a councilman of the Biała Podlaska City Council and an active local government activist.

Member of the Sejm of the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth terms. Using the experience he gained in entrepreneurship, he was, among other things, a member of the Sejm Committee on Economy and Development of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland (formerly the Committee on Economy) and the Parliamentary Team for Supporting Entrepreneurs Injured in Employee Outsourcing by the State Administration of the Republic of Poland, as well as chairman of the Parliamentary Team for Supporting Entrepreneurship and Economic Patriotism. Following his appointment as SME ombudsman, he left the Law and Justice Party and resigned his parliamentary seat.
