Marshal of the province for the 6th term
Born on April 7, 1981 in Tychy. Local government worker, manager, social activist. Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship for 6 terms.
Holds a university degree. He completed his master’s studies at the Department of Social and Pedagogical Sciences in Katowice at the Higher School of Pedagogy of the Common Knowledge Society in Warsaw. He then completed postgraduate studies in management at the College of Management and Finance of the Warsaw School of Economics and postgraduate studies in European project management at the Faculty of Finance and Insurance of the University of Economics in Katowice.
For many years he was professionally involved in the broadly defined cooperative sector in Tychy. He held management positions in the financial sector, including Director of Corporate Governance and Director of Strategic Assets. He was President of the Nadwislańska Tourist Agency, based in Tychy, and Secretary of the Social Sports Council to the Minister of Sports and Tourism. He is an expert on restructuring projects in the shipbuilding industry and the activation of post-industrial areas.
He was involved in the activities of the non-governmental sector (ngo) – the Association “Tychy Our Little Fatherland”. Twice (2010, 2014) obtained a mandate as a councilor of the Tychy City Council. Initiated, among other things, the creation of the Tychy Civic Budget. In 2014 he ran for the office of Mayor of the City of Tychy. He obtained the second result.
In 2018, he won a seat as a councilor of the Silesian Regional Assembly. He won 33,315 votes. On November 21, 2018, he was elected to the post of Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship. He is actively involved in activities aimed at transforming the region, among others, in the work of the so-called Platform for Transformation of Mining Regions at the European Commission. Priority areas of activity also include culture, infrastructure, transportation, ecology and sports.
Member of the National Development Council to the President of the Republic of Poland involved in the work of the sections: local government and health care.

– Distinction “Animus Silesiae” awarded by the Song and Dance Ensemble “Silesia”/ The award is given to outstanding personalities and authorities who draw inspiration for their work from the rich heritage of the Silesian land.
