ANDRZEJ DYBCZYŃSKI

President of the Lukasiewicz Research Network

Manager and scientist with more than fifteen years of experience in management, including units of a research and development nature. Doctor of Humanities. Graduate of the MBA program at Franklin University (USA). He did his internship at Georgetown University in Washington, DC in the area of management of scientific organizations. He earned master’s degrees in cultural studies and political science from the University of Wroclaw and completed postgraduate studies in European Union Law and Economy.

Director of the Lukasiewicz Institute – PORT from 2019 to February 2023. Managing Director at KGHM Cuprum Sp. z o.o. from 2017 to 2018. Manager at IBM from 2014 to 2017, responsible for the organization and supervision of the Western Hemisphere project team support division. From 2013 to 2015, consultant to the Ministry of Defense and expert to the Public Debate Forum of the Office of the President of the Republic of Poland.

Researcher at the University of Wroclaw from 2002 to 2018. Head of the Postgraduate Study of European Union Structural Funds from 2009 to 2014, and also deputy director of the Institute of Political Science of the UW from 2005 to 2012. Also member of the Senate of the UW from 2008 to 2018.

Author of books and scientific articles in the field of international relations and negotiations.
