Director of the Department of Infrastructure and Environment at the Metropolitan Authority of the Upper Silesian and Zagłębie Metropolis

He heads the Department of Infrastructure and Environment in Poland’s first metropolitan area, the Upper Silesian and Zagłębie Metropolis. In this regard, the GZM has ambitious plans to integrate environmental areas in topics such as municipal waste management, green metropolitan spaces, blue infrastructure, improving air quality, as well as striving for energy self-sufficiency of cities and municipalities by 2050. All activities have the overarching goal of mitigating climate change, as well as preventing climate change.

He has many years of experience in implementing projects in the area of environmental protection, including active participation in the creation of the anti-smog resolution for the Silesian province, as well as the implementation of waste management systems in municipalities. In the Office of the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship, she headed a team responsible for developing planning documents in the area of the region’s environmental policy.

She graduated from the Agricultural Academy in Wroclaw with a degree in Environmental Protection and from the Academy of Economics in Katowice with a postgraduate degree in Business Management.
