DR HAB. INŻ. ARKADIUSZ KAMIŃSKI

Expert, Area of the Board Member for Operations, PKN ORLEN

Engineer, Doctor of Technical Sciences. Expert in the field of environmental protection and natural resources, as well as water and wastewater management and power engineering. In 2000 he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Petrochemistry. Completed postgraduate studies in Finance Management Marketing, Project Management, Energy Audit, Gas Turbines and Gas-Steam Systems, Process Safety. He also completed MBA studies. Holds a full construction license in the field of design and works management, and an energetic license in the field of operation and supervision. From September 2009 to August 2018, he served as Director of PKN ORLEN’s Environmental Protection Office. He holds the position of the President of SITPChem Association (Association of Engineers and Technicians of Chemical Industry) Płock Branch, and is a member of the Mazovian Chamber of Civil Engineers. He served as Alternate Director at The European Petroleum Industry Association and provided consultancy and supervision at fuel depot construction sites. For 14 years he worked at the Warsaw University of Technology where he was engaged in scientific research on environmental protection and studies for the refining and petrochemical industry constituting the basis for opinions and reports as well as youth education. He is the author and co-author of over 100 articles and scientific publications.
Winner of awards, among others awarded by the President of the City of Płock in the Diploma for Płock 2010 competition, distinction in the Golden Engineer competition  in the science category, 2014, Golden Badge of Merit for the Construction Industry 2018.

Active member of the Association of Oilmen of Płock, Polish Chamber of Construction, Mazovian District Chamber of Construction, member of the Council of the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry and Secretary of the Program Board of the Chemical Industry Magazine.
